Dr. Tatiana Tsarouk, Ph.D., RCC is a pre-eminent Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist with over 40 years of experience. Holding a Ph.D. in Psychiatry, she has practiced extensively in Russia, the United States, and Canada, bringing a rich, multicultural perspective to her therapeutic approach. Dr. Tsarouk works with all types of clients and presentations.
Dr. Tsarouk is a registered member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and the American Hypnosis Association (AHA). Her diverse therapeutic services include individual, couple, and family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness practices, and specialized hypnotherapy for issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, and more.
Dr. Tsarouk served at the Mental Health Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, where she worked as a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. She also contributed to the academic community by teaching psychotherapy and hypnotherapy courses for continuing education physicians at Moscow Medical University.
Her commitment to advancing mental health led her to the United States, where she was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. There, she participated in an international collaborative project focused on preventing drug use among adolescents and youth.
Since relocating to Canada 16 years ago, Dr. Tsarouk has established a successful private practice in Powell River, British Columbia. She has also served as a counsellor at the Sunshine Coast Health Centre, providing support to individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
In her work with individuals, Chantelle supports clients navigating issues like anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem. Her approach creates a space for self-reflection, healing, and meaningful growth.
