WELLSPRING COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Counselling for adults with ADHD
Explore the emotional, practical and relationship challenges that can accompany ADHD with a counsellor who understands neurodivergence.
Space for your experience
You may want help with feeling overwhelmed, self-criticism, recurring conflict, or finding routines that fit your life. Counselling can provide space to explore these concerns and develop strategies with attention to your strengths and circumstances.
ADHD care can involve different services. Psychotherapy can sit alongside assessment, medical care and other practical supports. The right combination depends on what you need.

Counselling, diagnosis and medication
This page offers counselling. It does not advertise a formal ADHD diagnostic assessment, a psychological assessment report or medication prescribing by Wellspring’s RCCs. Dr. K holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and practises at Wellspring as a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
If you are seeking a diagnosis, medication or documentation for accommodations, ask an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about that service. Tell your counsellor about the support you already have so you can discuss how therapy would fit alongside it.
Questions before you book
Can I ask about counselling if I am unsure whether I have ADHD?
Yes. You can describe the difficulties you are experiencing and ask whether counselling fits your needs. A consultation does not confirm an ADHD diagnosis.
Will sessions be the same for everyone with ADHD?
No. Discuss your goals, preferences, strengths and challenges with Dr. K so you can decide how to work together.

Choose the right person and location
Wellspring’s only current in-person office is in Vancouver, by appointment and through select counsellors. Online options depend on where you will physically attend sessions and the clinician. Use our Canada province guide to find the right route.
A free 15-minute consultation is a short introduction to discuss fit. Regular therapy appointments are separate, paid sessions. Check fees and policies and confirm coverage for the individual clinician’s designation with your insurer.
