Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), BCACC #22056
For my entire professional life, I have focused on helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, discover purpose and connection, and engage in the work of healing and growth. Throughout this journey, I have supported people facing a wide range of concerns: anxiety and stress, depression, anger, relationship struggles, panic attacks, PTSD, low confidence, recovery from sexual assault or abuse, spiritual trauma, childhood trauma, and more.
Â
My practice is grounded in a steady belief that healing begins with honesty. As a therapist, I create a structured and compassionate space for that honesty — a place to explore the stories, patterns, and wounds that shape how we live and love, with the aim of creating thoughtful, lasting change.
Â
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BCACC and a trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). My work is primarily rooted in three evidence-based approaches in which I have received advanced training: Attachment Theory, EMDR, and AEDP. I integrate these frameworks to help clients safely revisit their stories and create meaningful change — not to relive old pain endlessly, but to transform the way that pain continues to shape their lives today.
Â
My work is not about talking in circles. It is about getting to the root: understanding what drives patterns, why reactions feel automatic, and how the past still echoes through relationships, choices, and one’s sense of self.
Â
My belief in the transformative impact of counselling emerged from my own experience of being deeply cared for by a therapist. This mentor invested in my life, recognized my potential, created safety to explore painful parts of my story, and challenged me at critical moments. That blend of non-judgmental compassion and thoughtful challenge became a refining fire that helped me mature and grow as a man. That same patient attention and courageous honesty now guide my work with clients.
