Our Founder

Alistair Gordon, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, founded Wellspring Counselling & Psychotherapy Inc. with a vision to unite science, compassion, and human depth in the service of well-being and self-actualization.

With decades of experience in synthesizing psychotherapy and neuroscience for practical application to effecting real change in thought, feeling, behaviour and embodied experience, Alistair developed CorMorphosis™ Psychotherapy, an integrative and experiential model that helps people learn how to transform emotional patterns encoded in implicit memory.

His approach draws from attachment theory, neuroplasticity, implicit memory, and other disciplines — emphasizing that real change happens only when insight is paired with integrative embodied experiential processes.

As a psychotherapist, father, and husband, Alistair believes therapy should be both practical and transformative to real life change and self-actualization of one’s potential — a process that helps people develop resilience, inner peace, and relational confidence in everyday life.

Through his clinical work, past teaching, and leadership at Wellspring, Alistair continues to train therapists and guide clients toward meaningful, lasting change — one rooted in empathy, awareness, and the full potential of the human mind.
