WELLSPRING COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Counselling for women
A place to talk about your experience, relationships and the demands on your life, with room for your priorities and the way you want to work.
Therapy shaped around your concerns
You may be looking for help with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, boundaries, grief, stress or a change in your life. You might want space to reflect on expectations, identity, culture or patterns that leave little room for your own needs.
There is no single experience of being a woman. Your counsellor can listen to the circumstances and identities that matter to you and work with you on the changes you want to explore. You do not need to arrive with a particular therapy approach in mind.

Choose a counsellor you feel comfortable with
If counsellor gender matters to your comfort, use the male and female filters on the team finder. You can also compare language, approach, area of focus and professional designation. Your counsellor does not need to share every part of your experience for you to ask about their understanding of it.
Bring the concerns you want to discuss to a consultation. Ask about the counsellor’s experience with those concerns, how they work and what the next steps could involve.
Questions before you book
Can I choose a female counsellor?
Yes. The manual team finder includes a counsellor gender filter, alongside language, approach and other preferences. Read the individual profiles and check current availability.
Do I have to use AI to choose someone?
No. You can use the manual filters, read profiles or contact Wellspring for help. AI matching is optional.
Choose the right person and location
Wellspring’s only current in-person office is in Vancouver, by appointment and through select counsellors. Online options depend on where you will physically attend sessions and the clinician. Use our Canada province guide to find the right route.
A free 15-minute consultation is a short introduction to discuss fit. Regular therapy appointments are separate, paid sessions. Check fees and policies and confirm coverage for the individual clinician’s designation with your insurer.
